Description
The Wi-Fi Card Access System (WCAS) is a plug-and-play solution
that consists of WC-5150 reader/controller (shown above) and Windows
software (sold separately). The WC-5150 device combines RFID
(proximity) reader and access controller (for optional door/gate
entry). The WCAS is
sleek and compact, measuring only 5.5" x 4.75" x 1". This Wi-Fi
solution is simple to install
and requires no communications wiring. It is ideal for use in the

(Note: The WC-5150 is designed for indoor use and must

The WCAS is
comprised of two primary elements:
- WC-5150
controller
- MCAS
host software
Compatible with standard Wi-Fi networks, the WC-5150
controller is a self-contained device with
wireless TCP/IP interface, integrated RFID reader, and AC
adapter.
MCAS Online host software for Windows is our flagship
access control software for magstripe and
RFID applications and is also compatible with WC-5150
controllers. With a database capacity of 50,000 card users, MCAS
online provides functions for card access, logging, enrollment, and
more! MCAS Online is available in 3 editions:
lite, standard, & premium.
For OEMs and developers interested in designing custom
application software, the WC-5150 can be used with your custom
developed software.
The WC-5150 can be used with an array of available card and
tag (fob) media. The following compatible formats are accepted:

The WC-5150 unit is
easily configured for your network using any suitable USB-to-RS232
adapter (not included). Or, if desired, we can pre-configure the
unit for you. The following network parameters are applicable:

I.P. address
- Port
number
The following network authentication modes are supported:
Installation is a breeze. Simply mount the controller
unit on a convenient wall or other surface and plug the AC adapter into
a nearby wall outlet. Use our Windows PC host software to add card users and to drive
